Michel opens the doors of an authentic 19th century winemaker's house of character, fully restored, nestled in a quiet area, on the edge of a lane, in the very heart of a peaceful & charming little typical wine village, steeped in history & perfectly preserved, rich in notable heritage (majestic medieval castle with a high square keep built in the 13th century, listed Romanesque church from the 11th century, Perceval tower from the 16th century, ancient bridge from the 17th century, water mills, beautiful traditional Burgundian residences perfectly restored...to discover on site). Nestled in the gentle, unspoiled countryside of the Haut Mâconnais, combining viticulture and nature, on a site protected by a ZNIEFF for its wealth of fauna and flora, in the hollow of a bucolic valley of meadows and vineyards (several AOCs including the famous Chardonnay of "Viré-Clissé"), on the edge of vast wild forests (largely classified as "Natura 2000 Zones" for their rich ecosystems), the village has a beautiful landscaped setting, 100% restful and relaxing.
