1. Room heater did not work, leaving the room at approx 55°. When i was duscussing it with the Attendant (Jazz'lyn) who had better pe ople skills, can-do/attitude than the "manager". 2. The manager who slinked out upon hearing my dissatisfaction, refused to call me or my Hotels.com representative. But rather quite mockingly stated that they would try to meet my idea of what 5*s should be, next time. E 3. There will be no next time. My grandfather in law helped build that area as the sheriff for many years, & ran an integrated club in an area that would be a homebase for 10,000+ Gertrude Ramon decendents. Evangeline Downs motel.6 isnt contributing to positive growth respect and culture our family establised.

Staff was nice and spacious room. The only thing that made me literally throw up, was while brushing my teeth, water splashed under the bowl rim and dirt flowed. It was so much I couldn’t stop regurgitating. Completely ruined my appetite for breakfast.

The staff were very nice and welcoming. The room was in order however upon preparing to take a shower I was greeted by a very large cockroach on the inside of the shower curtain. I did let the staff know and a room upgrade was offered however I had already done an upgrade. I do feel the dust around the air conditioning vents should also have been cleaned.
