      Great stay

Traveled with 6 couples for a weekend stay. Property was great, lots of room. Lake was beautiful!! We definitely want to come back in the summer when we could use it more. Traverse city wine tour picked us up from the house and we had a great time.

        Perfect Retreat for Girls weekend

Lance and Jody had great communication with me through the weeks leading up to our trip and during our stay. The house is a beautiful rustic lake house with amazing views. My favorite view was the sunrise over Duck Lake from the sun room every morning. Our group of twelve slept comfortably all in beds and played games in the large main room of the house. Lance and Jody even recommended a wine tasting festival to us that turned out to be the highlight of our trip! We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Lance and Jody!

          Great sun rise views!!!

We loved to watch the sun rise over the lake each morning. The house had plenty of room for all of us and a great place for my son to train for the Ironman.

            Amazing house-amazing lake

We had a large group stay for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There isn't a ton of beach but the water goes out about 60 yards and isn't even waist deep. This was ideal for games and the young kids to play. The bottom was sandy and the water was nice and clear. The hosts could not have been better. There is only 1 shower which is a bit of a pain but we never ran out of hot water so that part was nice. We really enjoyed the patio.

              Wonderful Stay!

My family and I had a wonderful vacation staying at this property. Clean and plenty of space. The lake was wonderful. My kids went fishing every day and caught many fish. The location was great for going to nearby Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City and the peninsulas for wine tasting. The back deck was so peaceful in the morning to watch the sunrise over the lake. The owners are very fast at answering any questions I had. The neighbors are very friendly. I loved being so close to the State Park as I am a runner and ran over to the state park and also I checked out the Interlochen Center for the Arts across the road from the state park. Everything was wonderful!
