Front desk was completely unattended for close to 10 minutes and the sign saying "pick up phone for assistance" was completely useless as the the instructions did nothing to hasten the attendants return. No apology was given. The room and hotel was spotless and clean so I have no complaints in that regard, but I drove through a blizzard to get here and I want to go to sleep. They also add on a $2 room safe fee that you have to "opt out of" if you dont want it appearing on your bill. The internet was unaccessible as the stamp that says "guest Internet" as the password, does not connect you to the internet. I will not be coming back and will pay a little bit extra to stay at the Hotel Chequamegon.

The curtains are falling off the rail, found an old dry contact in my bed… gross. Toilet was so wobbly felt like it was gonna break. Hotel needs ALOT of TLC. Breakfast bar terrible - Juice machine broken - no juice available… using ripped up paper towel for napkins. Door to outside was broken and we were first room - anyone could have come in. Staff was friendly enough, but hotel itself not so great!

The breakfast in the morning was high carb actually ALL carbs and vrry unhealthy especially for any diabetics the room was clean, disappointing there was no freshening of towels between nights, the refrigerator froze our water, the toilet "ran" all night, but the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was clean but plumbing was niosy and kept me up all night both nights. The bathroom door frames are rusty. No refreshed wash clothes for the 2nd morning. The breakfast was horrible: all carbs! No protein, no fresh fruit, just packaged doughnuts, make your own waffles and yogurt. Juice machine was out of order. No choices in tea, just black tea. Parking was convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions about the area. Pool was out of order

The room was clean. The bed was hard and the heater was noisy. The breakfast was poor, waffles, cold cereal and yogurt the only choices. We chose to visit the local diner instead.

I paid twice because I booked Expedia and didn't get a email days before. On 10/31/25 I booked hotel.com for the room, so I paid twice. I'm 78 and upon arrival was told I paid twice. The room was on the 2nd floor but they have no elevator. I have asthma and couldn't use stairs with luggage. The clerk gave me a room 114 on main level, thankfully, but the bathroom sink was plugged and had hair it in. The desk clerk told me Expedia must be contacted as a third party, he could not issue a refund. I've tried to contact Expedia but no resolution so far

Not a very good location. Our room was switched and the person behind the counter lied about room availability. The continental breakfast was a joke! However, the person in charge of breakfast area was reallly nice and tried to go and buy cups, etc. from a shop across the street.
