Wonderful property!

We loved our weekend at the cabin. The view is stunning and we spent much of our time enjoying if from the hot tub. The location was perfect for hiking in the smokies. We are very pleased with our stay and would recommend it to anyone!

Excellent family vacation location

Great location. Excellent views. Pet friendly. Close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for recreational activities, restaurants, shows; as well as grocery stores for essentials. Plenty of bear activity for added excitement.

Perfect Tennessee cabin

The cabin was adorable and very clean. Perfect location for the places we planned to visit....Gatlinburg and Dollywood in Pigeon Forge. It was amazing to do busy touristy things during the day and then spend some relaxing time in the hot tub. We'll definitely be back!

Nice and quiet

It was a nice stay but the roads leading there were very scary. There was dog hair everywhere but other than that it was nice.

Last minute decision to visit Gatlinburg. Cabin was as described - a bit older than expected. View and hot tub was great. Got daily visits from a family of bears!

Pleasing Stay

This is a nice, clean cabin with a pretty view of the valley below and mountains in the background. Perfect little outdoor deck on both floors, to sit and have my morning coffee. The winding narrow roads were an experience I didn't plan for, but after a couple trips to town & back I had it under control. Over all it was spacious and comfortable for 3 adults.

Cute cabin in the woods

Nice, clean 2 bedroom house with beautiful views! We felt like we were in a treehouse, but still a quick 7 or 8 minute drive to Gatlinburg. Our last day there a bear stroller down the street. Highly recommend.

very cozy and welcoming....

aside from a few unexpected surprises, which were handled expediently, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I will agree with some other reviews that the decor is a tad dated, but it does lend a very welcoming, homey feeling. We would have loved to stay another week or more ... the view from the balcony is amazing.

Cozy and secluded

We were very comfortable. A/C worked great. Hot tub is awesome! Several bears in the area. Bears were fun to watch. A alittle further from Gatlinburg and park than I thought. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Great stay even with unexpected changes

Our cabin was inaccessible due to flooding in the area. We found out the day before and were offered our choice of a few places. The place we ended up with was great. It was close to town clean and the property managers were outstanding in making sure that even with the last minute change our entire trip was great.

Stay at Chalet Village

We had a great stay! A bear got into our vehicle because we didn’t know to lock it lol. The only problems we had were that the floor wasn’t clean in living room and downstairs bathroom and that the deck with the hot tub seemed dry rotted. The rails were a bit loose as well. Other than that everything was great! Thank you!

Beautiful property close to town

The house was great. Check-in was difficult because we were given the wrong door code so we had to get in touch with the after hours call center and wait for help. The place was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The downstairs bedding smelled like urine, food crumbs on upstairs furniture, ceiling fans coated in dust, kitchen utensils and cookware covered in food and grease, and the floors were filthy.

Weekend get away

The cabin was really clean and it was very easy for us to find. Myself, my husband and our emotional support pet love how comfortable the cabin was. We enjoyed see all the different colored leaves that was falling from the trees. We did have a bear out side the cabin Saturday morning. The only thing I would suggest is there was no broom to sweep the leaves that got tracked in, so we had to pick them all up by hand. Also a Swiffer to mop, I had bought my own Clorox wipes to clean.

Okay

Just okay. Television in one of the bedrooms did not work Only two trash bags; we purposely cooked two meals a day to save money so we could spend it in town. Hot tubs need rails; almost impossible to get out of. Might seem trivial, but those things were important to me.

So much potential but just okay.

We booked this property for our family of 5 and dog. Overall very nice view. Set up of cabin is family friendly. Being able to have our dog with us was priceless. I would say the whole place needs updated as it is like walking into the 80's. Tons of wallpaper, blue/gray dingy carpet with stains in the main floor bedroom, kind of an old smell. Kitchen needs new utensils and there are barely any towels (not a big deal, just need to bring your own.) Hot tub was nice and clean. In need of a deep cleaning around the baseboards, lots of cobwebs etc. Overall we had a nice time. This place could be so much better with updating! But you get what you pay for I guess.

Outdated, far check-in location, and a scary drive to house

Overall the stay was good and everything went well. I HIGHLY Recommend arriving during the daytime. The roads to the house is high in the mountains with no lights and little signs. The home was clean and cozy, I would appreciate a few more complimentary items aside from soap being this is basically an AirBnB but that's just my opinion. The towels were old but clean. The TV in the downstairs room is on its last leg and the decor could use an upgrade. I will consider this an option if I return to Gatlinburg. The hot tub was amazing and made it worth it in the end (: Check-in location is about 15-20 mins from the house. Roads are tight and dark so arrive early.

Not overly impressed

We paid for a premium home that was not that. Down stairs bed matress collapsed to the floor because the slats where terrible first nite there. Home premoted the fireplace but you had to furnish your own wood. Spider webs galore. Very out dated decor and kitchen supplies. Charcoal grill is a terrible open metal box mounted on a rail. Cover for the hot tub was busted into small pieces. Broken rail and hole through deck behind hot tub(not safe for a small child or pet). Over all disappointed for the amount we paid to stay in this home.

DO NOT book this listing.

Believe the negative reviews and do not book this listing. Upon our arrival, there was urine in the downstairs toilet, the fan in the downstairs bedroom was dangling from the ceiling, several railings were loose in the balcony, and many of the kitchen utensils were broken. The list of attractions for which you will receive free admission is inaccurate and misleading. The property management staff was rude and unwilling to help solve issues with the stay. We were incredibly disappointed in both the property and with Bear Camp Cabins staff. I will say it again: Do not book this property or any property with Bear Camp Cabins. You will be disappointed.

Lacking

We’ve been going to Gatlinburg for over 6 years now and this was the worst place we’ve stayed. Rental was completely outdated with rooms and bathrooms dark and dingy. The carpet in the corners of the rooms seemed to be bleached or stained from what I can only assume to be from pets. Ceilings were stained with dark spots from again my guess would be leaks. The useable fire place had 1 piece of wood so you have to go to the store and buy your own wood if you wanted to use the fire place. No complimentary coffee. Towels were old and abrasive. Only part of the stay that was reasonable was the hot tub and the some what decent view. Drapes and curtains were torn or broke. A lot lacking and I wouldn’t recommend. Trash around the outside of the cabin that hasn’t been picked up. Fees and charge are not worth the stay here.
