Originally built to reflect Creede's rugged mining heritage, this 600-square-foot cabin blends rustic charm with modern conveniences. Start your mornings with a cup of coffee beside the warm gas fireplace before strolling into town to explore local shops, restaurants, museums, and the renowned Creede Repertory Theatre.

• Consistent with most Colorado mountain homes, the home does not offer air conditioning. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
• Our home is NOT ideal for guests with mobility issues. Steep incline to get down to the yard and the house.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had an overall great time. One item to improve is direction of where to pull in and park initially. It's actually off of 10th street, not 10 and 1/2 street. Also could have provided coffee, like other rentals do.

We like cabins, so this was okay for us. It is close to town so we could walk to the shops, restaurants, and mine. The area around the cabin isn't particularly desirable but fits the Creede vibe. The bedroom is small so we kept our clothes in the living area. The cabin is surrounded by a fence so that was good for our pet and some privacy. Some suggested improvements: A better fence door latch, a walkway to the front door, and a permanent stepping stone into the cabin. All in all, we are thankful and had a good visit to this historical area.

The bedroom is interesting with access to bed from only one side with the other side surrounded by walls. The kitchen was nice and well stocked. The bathroom was clean and totally stocked. Nice for a few nights.

The inside of the building ( bed , bath and kitchen)were comfortable clean and organized.Outdoors there are safety concerns with pathwys, parking area and lighting. The pathway is full of tripping hazards leading to a unstable door-stoop that is falling apart and unsafe. The parking area is barely wide enough for 1 car and has steep sides which will result in serious injury from falls.We thought the unit was very overpriced.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great little cabin. Very rustic but well placed for easy access to everything in Creede. Off the main drag just enough to be super quiet but still walking distance from shops and restaurants. It is very small, has only a mini fridge and freezer and there’s no dishwasher, the stairs to the upstairs loft are Everest steep and a little sketchy and there’s not much storage room for your stuff, so just know that going in. Perfectly adequate for a couple days for one or two people. We had an issue getting the fridge to work, made one call and they had it fixed and even brought ice packs for us in the meantime. Really great service.
