Extremely unclean. The lobby was the cleanest and that’s saying a lot considers the 100’s to 1000’s of bugs in and outside the hotel. I understand it’s by a lake and this is the time of year but there is always something that can be done. The elevator from the garage was broken but after looking at more reviews apparently it’s been broken for a while now! The bathroom in the room was soooo filthy. Words can’t explain how disappointed we were with our rooms.

This hotel was perfect. Other then getting into the city we were able to park in the parking garage and uber or use their shuttle or walk where we needed to go. Great location, safe area of the city, highly recommend

Terrible Hotel - Run down and outdated!

We stayed here, because we were going to the Browns pre-season game on 8/23/2025. Usually DoubleTree hotels are really nice, but this one was terrible, inside and out. The parking garage had garbage thrown all over. The parking garage elevator was not working and we had to park on the 3rd floor and carry our luggage down the stairs and they were charging $30 a night for parking. Our room was horrible. It smelled wet and like mildew. The lights in the room were dim and the toilet water continuously ran after flushing. We had to tell them to change our room, because it was unacceptable. The second room was better. The whole hotel is outdated, rooms, hallways and the garage. The only thing good about this hotel were the daily warm cookies that they offered. I do want to give a BIG thank you to Brandon for helping us out and making an effort to make the changes for our room. Will we stay here again….NO!

The hotel is wonderful, the room is cozy with good beds. The only thing was that it was inconvenient to get to the hotel from the parking lot with a suitcase. The elevator did not work.

There were gnats coming from the air conditioner unit in the room. My room had to be changed to another floor where there were gnats in that room as well. The front desk staff were very unprofessional except for one guy who actually brought the key to my room when I asked to change rooms. The fridge didn’t work in the first room. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls of the hallways. The window are dirty. It’s a nice location but needs remodeling and a severe deep clean of biggie the property and their employees.

Generally the stay was ok, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However there were some items that were a bit of an annoyance. The parking garage elevators were out of order for the 2 days of our stay. We had parked on the third floor when we arrived the first day and had to walk down the ramp to get to the lobby. The coffee maker did not work, plus a couple of the electrical outlets were also not working. The bath/shower gel dispenser was empty, when we let housekeeping know they set a full container on the vanity and didn't bother mounting it on the shower wall. Housekeeping didn't clean the room even though we had asked for it to be done. The tissue dispenser had about 4 tissues in it, they had been pulled up to the top to give the appearance it was full.

Expedia booked me on a handicap room with 2 beds. At check in, I was given a handicap room with 1 bed. Once in the new room, tv did not work. Had to be moved to a new room. Hotel doesn’t even offer a 2 bed handicap room. Very unhappy with Expedia and the booking.
