The location was everything. Charleston Harbor, shops and restaurants in the Mount Pleasant area, . . . Shem Creek too. It did not disappoint for the price. Just an FYI, as the hotel is somewhat dated, but it was clean, it was safe and the price was unbeatable for being at the base of the Ravenel Bridge crossing over into Charleston.

Room has all needed equipment and is close to the parking area. High deposit for the key card at check-in, loud in the backyard because of the evening celebrating workers (guests?) and machine and vehicle noise in the morning from 5am. Grocery 5 min walk, bus station to the Charleston visitor centre in 15 min walking distance, alternatively 10 min drive.

You get charged a safe charge upfront, but if you don't want it charged, You must tell the hotel when you check out you don't want it, seems you could tell them that when you check in, and the front desk looks down on you for booking the room with Expedia.

First room smelled like weed, second room bathtub was clogged. We got switched rooms twice. Front desk was awesome but the room was not cleaned under the beds and inconvenienced by moving rooms twice.
