Just a short stroll from the beach, this spacious home sets the scene for a fun-filled family vacation or a relaxing escape by the sea. Enjoy the ocean breeze from multiple decks and balconies, or soak up the sun in the fenced backyard, complete with a sparkling saltwater pool and slide.

This was the ideal property for a large group. The common areas accommodated our family of 13, which I have found is rare. We loved the game room and pool. When we had an issue with the air conditioning, we received prompt service. Overall, it was an extraordinary place to stay

Disappointing. Sequins and sparkles from a previous party were found around the house. There was only one potholder in the kitchen so ended up using towels for that. Ice maker that had previously noted is still broken. I think we expected something more for the price

Property was very spacious and had plenty of room for each family to have their own space. Great outdoor space for our family function as well as a sizable living space for cooking and entertaining. Restrooms were strategically placed on each level for great access.

Loved the location, quiet neighborhood. Very clean which is important to us. Lots of large towels. Pool with slide and game room were great! Large kitchen table and extra island seating was great.Negatives: outside shower not working, fridge ice maker not working, furniture tired. Given wrong door code and WiFi info. So had to call and wait for a new code.

Burris Triplets Turn 80

Everything was wonderful for the most part, the beach house was spacious with plenty of room for everyone including the children. We really enjoyed the game room and the salt water pool. The living room and kitchen was open and great for entertainment the only thing that was frowned upon was the ice maker doesn’t work and looking from previous reviews it’s been that way for a couple of years. When we arrived we were told that the grass would be cut but that didn’t happen and the yard really needed to be maintained the grass was really high and we couldn’t really enjoy the entirety of the pool area. Very nice stay and would definitely rent again.

Great house for a large group

We had a large group of extended family gather for a week. The house was the perfect fit for us. We cooked dinner several times in the huge kitchen and found everything we needed. The saltwater pool and the water slide was amazing and we used it every day. There were lots of beach chairs and accessories available for our use in the garage. It was a short walk to the beach and not far from the boardwalk. We didn’t have any issues during our stay. A great time was had by all!

Making family memories

The house was beautiful, clean, and a short walk to the beach. The backyard was awesome with a private pool with a water slide that the kids just loved. There was a cornhole set that we enjoyed using, a great propane barbecue grill, and even a charcoal grill. The house was well equipped except for a toaster which we would have liked. Also we were unable to adjust the thermostat. It was set on 70 degrees the whole time because it required a PIN number to change it and we didn’t have this information. The ice maker didn’t work either, which we called and reported, but there were lots of ice trays in which to make ice. This is the third beach house that we have rented for our family, and it was by far our favorite. We hope to rent it again in the future.

Great location, Not great accomodations

The home was in a great location, about a block from the beach. There was plenty of room and reasonable accommodations for us. However, as soon as we entered the home, we were meet with two "palmetto bugs" crawling across the kitchen floor. We noticed at night that the AC was locked to 70 deg. F. it did not feel like 70 and made for an uncomfortable night's sleep for us, including the guests we had with asthma and allergies. We notified the management (Turnkey) and they did nothing to resolve those issues. On the day we were to leave, which was supposed the be a late check out at 12pm (we paid an additional $40 for it), the air was turned off in the morning and we had no way of turning it on. So, we were essentially packing up and sweating, as the temperature rose, in order to depart at our set time. We enjoyed our stay regardless because my kids were happy, but we will avoid renting if Turnkey is involved and we will not rent this home again.

Excellent beach house getaway

Great experience at this property! Great location in Carolina Beach and fit our group of 11 people very well! We rented a gas golf cart during the week (the garage has several outlets so you could get an electric one if you wanted). Management team was responsive when needed. Kitchen has plenty of dishes, pans, etc (we brought our own Keurig). There were a bunch of towels and beach towels available in the laundry room. The pool was AMAZING…had a blast in there! The kids loved the slide and the patio space was nice at night (the outdoor lights and water on the pool slide are time activated). The rec room located on the main floor was also nice (you have to go through this space to get to the pool)…just be careful with the 1/2 bath as the toilet clogs easily. Would definitely stay at the property again…can’t beat the location and the pool!

Overall this was a nice property. It is older and has steep stairs but other than initial cleanliness (which was OK but not great) and a nonfunctioning ice maker, we found it comfortable for our family. The area pool is very nice and the beach is a short work away. We also found a walking path about five blocks west of the house that was very pleasant for morning & evening strolls---just be careful of alligators in the ponds along the way!

Family Beach Vacation

Lovely home, however, the downstairs 1/2 bath and game room floor were not swept. Propane tank empty and grill left dirty.. Shower/tub in 2nd floor hall bath drained very slow. LIghts around pool came on periodically throughout the week: sometimes during the day,, sometimes around 11 pm, sometimes not at all. 4 of 7 bikes could not be ridden, light in 2nd floor master closet did not work. Ice machine in the refrigerator did not work and screen was torn on the deck door. Spoke with Jennifer on Monday, 6/21 and was told to purchase a propane tank, sent reciept to her for reimbursement. She also said someone would contact us regarding the other problems and compensation but no one did.

Great family beach house

Overall we had a great experience staying at this beach house. It was a short walk to the beach with easy beach access. The pool was wonderful and a hit with the whole family. Good outdoor space and fun slide. Only problem was with lots of flies so we couldn’t eat by the pool. The grill was not clean and there was no propane so we could not grill as planned. It really needs some furniture on the screened in porch but the interior was very nice. We loved the open kitchen and living area and had room for all 12 of us. Kitchen was moderately well stocked. Appliances were nice and laundry room great. There are 6 bedrooms so it sleeps a lot of people. The bunk room can sleep a lot of children as it’s 2 queen over queen bunk beds. Also the sofa on the top floor pulls out for another person. There are only 31/2 baths but they are nice. No toilet paper or paper towels were provided! Recommend purchasing some new bath towels. Game room is an extra bonus and there were some chairs, toys and bikes in the garage. We were able to park 5 cars in garage and driveway. Overall we enjoyed the house. Liked the location, pool and floor plan. Wish we could have used screened porch but no furniture is there. Recommend cleaning grill and providing propane and addressing issue with flies around the pool if possible. (Only a problem if food is out there.)

Great house, great location but could use a few upgrades.

We stayed for a week with 15 people ranging in age from six months to 62 years old. The check in process was easy and the cleaning crew did a great job. The rear yard/pool area was better than described, there is a small deck with seating on each side of the pool, a gas grill and tea lights around the fence and trees. The house is in great shape but could use some upgrades, The water heater seems to be undersized for such a large house making showers in the evening a long and arduous process. The first floor bedroom doesn’t have a closet or wardrobe to hang clothes which really frustrated my wife. The thermostats all seem to default to 75° every couple hours, we contacted the property manager several times, they were very responsive and told us the owner would adjust the thermostats but they still went back to 75° every night, for the price paid you should be able to keep the house at a comfortable temperature. We had a great time and really enjoyed the house but probably wouldn’t rent again unless we had a slightly smaller party.

Beautiful house. Please be sure there is enough toilet paper and fix the ice machine on the fridge. There was a horrid smell on the counter and cabinet over and around the dishwasher. We had to bleach it away. I think the dishwasher was run and left with wet dishes inside for a long time. Beach umbrella was a nice thought but it’s broken. Fairy lights around the pool aren’t working. Also needed a pump for the bikes. Toilet paper hinge in the master is not secure to the wall. We still had a great time, but do address these items.

Perfect Gem

We absolutely enjoyed this property! It was beautiful just as pictured. Prime location to the beach and town in case you have to make a quick store run. Absolutely no complaints about the property.
