Wonderful weekend getaway in Boise! Clean home, perfect location to lots of fun things to do in the area, great sized backyard for our little dog to run after travel, and lots of laughs around the pool table was a great treat! Great communication with owner and super quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!
We did an extended stay in this house in the Boise area..3 weeks...the house was clean...beds and linens were nice...house was in good repair...the green grass in the back yard was a nice bonus...excellent location and neighborhood...property manager was attentive to my texts...would definitely rent again
The house is well laid out with most of what the average person would need to be comfortable. The backyard is nice and is secure as well. It is conveniently located and the neighborhood is low traffic and quite. We don't make a habit of staying in Boise but, if we do it again, we will try to get this place again
Property is clean, well maintained and easy check-in/out processes. We stayed here for my daughters swim meet and there was plenty of room and things to do for everyone in our travel party. I would definitely stay here again.
Exactly as advertised. Clean. Nice neighborhood. The decently sized, fenced yard was perfect for our small dog to run off some travel steam. Host was accommodating and communicated well.
Nice place. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly neighbors. Nice fenced in backyard for dogs. Walking path behind open Nov-Mar for dogsKitchen has basic supplies. If you plan to make a larger meal you may want to bring your own supplies ie potato masher, casserole dish We were staying for 2 weeks and there was limited paper products- 1/4 roll paper towel and 2 rolls toilet paper in each bathroom hand soap and dish soap dispensers were not full. There was plenty of body wash, shampoo & conditioner. Host was generally responsive. Did offer to bring more supplies but we bought our own. Dishwasher leaked into kitchen the night before Thanksgiving. Took a couple messages to get a response and host checked out dishwasher 5 days after it leaked. Beds are comfortable and shower was strong and lots of hot water.
This home fit our needs well for an extended family time in Boise for the Holidays. The back yard is large and there is a great walking path for dogs in the neighborhood through winter months. All bedrooms are upstairs! We enjoyed the easy access to the neighborhood and central location to get everywhere we needed to go!
Our son and two of our granddaughters drove in from Utah to spend a few days before Christmas. Our Daughters family including another granddaughter and grandson live in Meridian. Our son brought his two French Bulldogs and we needed a place large enough for all of us including one night sleepover. The 3 upstairs bedroom along with a downstairs blowup bed we brought made it perfect..

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Great Location
Pros: We were in town for a baby shower for our daughter. Lots of company so my mother, husband and oldest daughter stayed at the VRBO with dogs. It was nice and close. Great walking options for the dogs and a secure fenced in area.Cons: The information at the property stated the lawn was mowed every week. Given that the grass was at least 6" high that was clearly not happening. Made picking up after the animals a challenge. There was a deposit charged the day before we checked in that I could find no information on. We have stayed in numerous VRBOs and never had this happen. We understand the idea behind it and support it but also feel that there should be some further check-in procedures in place so that damage (if any) is noted with representatives from both parties. Covers everybody involved. Then when we discovered that the downstairs TV was damaged (24 hours into our stay) and notified property manager immediately we were blamed for the damage because we were just then letting them know. Watching TV was far from our priority for the trip, the property was a place to lay our heads for the night. It was a warm weekend and when were arrived late in the evening the house was 83 degrees. Opened windows to help cool it down and 2 of the 3 upstairs windows had no screens.
Spent Thanksgiving here (Wed-Sunday); 6 adults, one infant
Positives about the home:
Location was nice and close to things to do; park directly behind the house was convenient for the dogs; the backyard was in good shape; had enough space for everyone to hang out; Pool table was a fun thing to use
Opportunities for improvement of the home (didn't feel owners and/or property management company Getaway Lodging take much pride in how it appears to people renting the home) I spent time messaging Braden about various questions/things:
bathrooms didn't seem as clean as they should be (hair on floor and in tub; bathroom rugs didn't seem like they were vacuumed;
Master Bedroom closet door was off the hinges
No replacement toilet paper in any of the bathrooms and ended up having to buy our own;
no extra garbage bags and only two dishtowels
issues with the garage door opening and closing
On November 21 messaged Braden about confirming a high chair and infant crib was at the property as indicated in the listing. Braden indicated he would go and look and I had to follow up with him on 11/25 as he hadn't gone to check yet; on 11/26 he indicated there weren't these items there at the house. As of today 12/3 they are still showing as items at the house on the listing!
We cooked dinner at the house and would suggest more nice looking cooking sheets and going through the cooking utensils as can opener and scissors were broken; Replace filter light on fridge was on and various light bulbs were burned out throughout the house needing replaced
