Our stay at the OYO Alumhurst Hotel was absolutely disgraceful !!! The room was constantly freezing as there was no form of heating, the walls were covered in mould which infact looked like black mould in most places and was even on the bed base and mattress too !!! And because of the damp and mould, the floating bed side table kept falling off the wall and the bed side light was broke and hanging of its wire There was a hole in the floor which was just covered over by the carpet. We couldn't watch TV as no channels worked and the "free WiFi" was virtually non-existant. Also... We couldn't use the shower because we were unable to manage the temperature and so was either freezing cold or scolding hot, which produced so much steam, that it set the fire alarm off !!! We also had a leak in the bathroom which was coming from where the bathroom light was situated on the ceiling and so were scared to use the light. People were constantly slamming doors and banging on other people's doors throughout the night so couldn't relax. My partner was even threatened by someone else staying there but the management (who actually witnessed it) was absolutely no help whatsoever, he was only interested in trying to get more money out of us aswel as spying on us from the cameras and video doorbell !!! We wouldn't go back there even if we were paid to because it was the worst place we've ever stayed in our entire lives !!! I wouldn't even rate it with 1 star, I'd say overall it was horrific !!!
