    Romantic vacation home in Southwest Harbor
    Our all-wood interior vacation home was built in 1990. It is in a private wooded setting, on a circle off the main road. We are a short 1/2 mile walk to the waterfront, and a mile to the town center. The house is 1000 sq. ft., 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The main living area is open plan, with well-equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room. The kitchen has a newer refrigerator, newer range, brand-new dishwasher and microwave. A brand new bathroom (with shower only) with washer and dryer. The spacious master bedroom has a king bed. The guest bedroom has one king bed and the living room/den has a full foldout sofa. Broadband Wifi Internet access is included. We have a new large deck with a gas grill, outdoor table and 4 wrought-iron chairs for outdoor dining. We also have four Adirondack chairs and table for a relaxing retreat. Two cross-terrain bikes and car-rack with helmets are in the shed. The house can accommodate up to six people.
    Guest accommodations at this vacation home offer washers/dryers and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to patios. Accommodations offer separate living rooms. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and separate dining areas.

      Blissful Retreat

      The house was just enough for our needs. It’s a cute little cabin tucked away....felt very private. It was just enough amenities for our family...comfortable beds, washer and dryer, games, TV and pots to cook lobsters. Lots of family time here. Conveniently there was a lady minutes from the house selling lobster for $6/lb...that was great!! Our family has been visiting MDI for the last 4 yrs now, and it was our first time staying in Southwest Harbor. The only negative we had was that we had to drive further than normal to get to the areas we wanted to hike and visit, which was not a big deal. As a “get away”, it was perfect. Ashley, the cleaner, left her number if we needed anything and was available immediately when I texted her. Thank you for a great stay!

          Great Location

          Bliss cabin was so conveniently located on the "quiet" side of Acadia. We were so glad to be away from the Bar Harbor/cruise crowds. There are tons of hiking trails nearby. The neighborhood was really quiet making sitting out on the deck quite enjoyable without any annoying bugs. The cabin is fully stocked with whatever you need. Since we flew, the folding chairs and cooler came in handy. The bed was super comfortable.

            A Wonderful Stay

            Our family had a great time at this cottage. It was very clean. The bathroom was clean and updated. Outside was a great, private backyard surrounded by woods that was perfect for our dog. We did not even need a leash on him back there. Sleeping was true bliss- from the mattress to the comforter and pillow. It’s a very quiet and private street, with neighbors spaced far apart for privacy. The owners were very good with communication.

              Great location, very relaxing, great amenities.

              It was easy to relax - it was quiet, peaceful, and all the amenities we could want. Our dogs were very comfortable here and had a great time as well.
