The waves beat to a perfect rhythm for your vacation on the Outer Banks of North Carolina at the spacious and beautiful Ocean Song, situated on the oceanfront in Avon on Hatteras Island. Grab your flip flops and sunglasses and enjoy this nearly 3,000-square-foot, family-friendly, oceanfront beach house that features a private pool with expansive concrete pool area, a soothing hot tub tucked in a private corner and private beach access. Take a walk on stepping stones to the boardwalk dune crossover and see the beautiful, wide beach.
Ocean Song's first level has two bedrooms (one with twin beds and another with two sets of bunk beds for four individuals), a full bath, a washer/dryer nook, and a playroom with a TV, a table for games or lunch, and slider to the pool and hot tub. A handy mini-fridge for cold pool drinks is by the slider. The second level has an entertainment center and a desk nook, and three ensuite bedrooms - each with king-size beds and private baths. Two are oceanfront, so you can watch the sunrise through the slider to the deck. The third-level great room with a half-bath has wonderful natural light, tall ceilings, and a view of the ocean and pool. House needs lots of help!
There is black mold in the bottom vent going out to the pool - NOT good when you have a kid with asthma staying in the house. The beds were ALL uncomfortable, the pillows were stained and gross along with the mattress pad. The toaster only worked on 1 side, there where many outlets that didn't work on the top floor. The deck had tons of splinters and needed to be redone. The couch has a large split/hole in the back of it. One of the TVs in the bedroom didn't work. If you want quality people to come back and visit, the house needs to kept up for vacationers visiting with their families.

House was ok, had quite a few maintenance issues.
Beach is nice and close. Pool was good. Hot tub jets weren't the strongest. Multiple pool chairs were broken and unusable. Toaster didn't work. There was a sewage backup into the bathtub every time we used the washing machine and it drained. Called and a maintance guy came and said he fixed it but it still kept happening. The septic tanks were full and starting to leak raw sewage and toilet paper into the yard.
