Minneapolis St. Paul International (MSP) is serviced by two terminal buildings, the first of which is at 4300 Glumack Drive, and the second at 7150 Humphrey Drive. Both can be reached by following either I-35 or I-494.
Cancun flights typically last a little over four hours and once you arrive, you'll need to present your passport and go through Customs. Following that, the best transportation arrangements can be made through the Airport for shuttles, taxis, limo service and buses.
Cancun International Airport (CUN) is located about 25 minutes from the city of Cancun itself, and nearby cities like Playa del Carmen, Akumal and Tulum are 45, 60 and 90 minutes away from the airport, respectively.
Nearby are the well-preserved ruins of Chichen Itza, an ancient city built by the Maya and a UNESCO World Heritage site. For a relaxing beach experience, try Isla Mujeres; an island just a few miles off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. If nightlife is your thing, Congo Bongo Cancun is the best-known club in the area and features live entertainment.
Because of its location on the coast of the Yuacatan Peninsula, Cancun is a cooler travel destination compared to other cities inland, but can still get very hot from May through September, although rain can be expected during part of the year.
