"A rustic and charming cottage, high on the rocks with beautiful views. Cottage was clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen totally adequate. Location was perfect! Walkable neighborhood for grandkids and dog. Hodgkin's Cove Beach/Davis Neck & Lighthouse Beach were enjoyed. Breakfast deck for the sunrise and Porch for the sunset were amazing! The walk up the hill to the cottage was exercise indeed, but so worth the view when you got there. Be ready for some wind off of the ocean! Communication with the hosts was delightful. Thank you to John, Cally & Family for opening up your Diamond by the Sea. We hope to return!"

"We went for our 25th anniversary and wanted somewhere with close access to things to do. Salem at Halloween time-highly recommend. We got in from the airport late evening, but Paula still took the time to show us the property and welcome us. The apartment is very cozy, super clean, and has a huge window overlooking the water. Our hosts were great about giving us suggestions and directions. We would definitely stay there again!"

"All previous reviews were pretty spot on. Location location location— helped us look past the little things: Towels are well worn, kitchen (sharp) knives, wine glasses and other drink ware were very limited. Bathroom door didn’t close. We couldn’t find a blender. Again, all of these things were minor and the rest of our experience was perfect! We loved the huge deck (bring safety gates if you have little ones) Other common areas were able to accommodate our extended family comfortably. (6 adults, 3 children under 4). The beach is so close that one of us could easily walk back to grab something or use the bathroom. Outdoor shower (shower curtain could be replaced) was ideal. The house is within 15 minutes of downtown, shopping, urgent care, etc although there’s a variety store minutes away with just about anything. We are coming back next summer. Thankfully."
