This is a beautiful property but there are few rooms in the large bldg, and the east and west wings are not as nice. The bathroom window screen had a tear in it and there was no bathroom fan. Additionally, the creamer in the room was expired and curdled. It was ok but not worth the price.

Not as anticipated. We did not stay in the historic mansion but instead in a crappy hotel room. First room had debris in the beds. Second room had paint peeling from the ceiling, ripped shower curtain, and a spider living in the bathroom. Heard every step that the upstairs patron made. Owner claimed that cleaners came daily however the dust on the keurig begs to differ. Extremely disappointed in spending so much money on a bad motel room. Would not recommend.

We booked on Hotels.com and the picture shows a big old historic house. Be aware you are likely going to stay in a 1950’s era motor lodge motel. It was…okay, but we were a bit surprised to be directed to a sort of run down building that was no where in their picture of the hotel.

Came in after 6 and it was dark and raining so didn’t see the grounds. Couldn’t get the heater to work in my room so employee Dan moved me to another room in the main building. He was so accommodating and helpful. Climbed the stairway to heaven in a room that is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for a wonderful night after a long day.

Property is little bit away the ocean front. But we had a car, so that was no problem. The Don, and his daughter were very friendly and helpful with suggestions and recommendations which were excellent for dinner and breakfast. The room was on the second floor above the entrance; was large with king size bed and private bathroom. Very nice.! What would make it better is if they offered breakfast for their guests. Unfortunately that is not offered at this time; only on the weekends. This is clearly spelled out on their website. So no surprise. If we ever come to Glouster in the future we would definitely use the Castle Manor Inn again. Thank you!
