The hotel was very nice and in a great location. It was only a two min walk to all the restaurants and the Sealife Center. The room was very nice and clean and Paulette at the front desk was very nice and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here again the next time we visit

Staff is always very helpful, we stay there every year after tourist season. very convenient location. The web site had it as pet friendly, staff was very helpful and friendly about this issue Next morning they told us that other 3 reservations had similar problems, web site had made mistake Still place is clean and love the ladies that take care of the front counter. Highly recommend this place for small confortable and convenient location. Very close to Aquarium, restaurants and shopping

The room was cute and clean (as pictured). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is optimal for visiting the Sealife Center, shopping, and dining options. It is a short walk to the waterfront. It is not located near the Seward boat harbor, but during peak season there is a trolley that stops near the hotel.

Paulette who manages this hotel goes out of her way to provide the best customer service! She gave us great advice and even lent us bear spray to stay safe while hiking. All staff was great too. Hotel is in a good location and just a block away from a bunch of restaurants, the Sea Life Center, and the waterfront.

We really enjoyed the Hotel Seward. A historic property that has been nicely renovated. The location was wonderful, within a short walk to the waterfront, restaurants, shops, and the Alaska Sealife Center. The hotel was VERY clear about this on their website. Some of the older parts of the hotel use a SHARED bathroom. They tell you which rooms do and do not have this. However, there were people coming in and acting like it was a big surprise and trying to get a room with a private bath. CHECK before you go if this is important to you. Also, they do not have a complimentary breakfast. Make note of that. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provide a shuttle service to spots around Seward. This was important and helpful to us as we arrived by train and departed on the cruise ship. They accommodated all those needs. We would recommend the Hotel Seward.
