Lovely hotel for an overnight stay. Good restaurant with good food. Just disappointed in the neighborhood due to so much construction. On a previous visit, I found the neighborhood walkable and interesting. On this trip due to construction, it wasn't very remarkable to walk around the hotel.

The hotel itself is stunning, clean and comfortable. We loved our room - #413 - and were happy that we did not meet any ghosties in the halls, library, or our room. We felt very pampered during our 2 night stay. We ate breakfast at the hotel both mornings - our cook and server were different both times, and all were great, but especially on Monday! We had the omelet breakfast both visits and it was really good, and plenty of food. Hopefully we will repeat our stay this year, possibly in late October.

We were just there for one night, to enjoy dinner and attend a concert, but enjoyed our stay. We will certainly stay there when we have time to return to explore Blennerhasset Island. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and found the servers to be excellent both times. The food was also generous and delicious. We would only suggest that the she crab soup have the expected chunks of crabmeat rather than crabmeat that seemed to have been ground up.
