First of all, they gave away my king room w/sofa and private balcony/patio. When I arrived, they didn't mention anything but gave me a key to a double queen room w/out a sofa or balcony/patio. When I told them of their mistake and showed proof of booking the king, they said sorry but we don't have any king rooms left nor did they have any ocean view queen rooms, so I could stick with what they gave me or cancel my booking. They offered no discount for the lower quality room and when I asked for a discount, the manager said she couldn't give me one and to talk to my 3rd party booker. I said I would keep the room as nothing else was available Labor Day weekend and I just drove 4 hrs. I called Expedia and they contacted the property manager who only then offered us a 10% discount (she should have already offered that). So, they obviously aren't interested in having a repeat customer with such horrible customer service when they were at fault and then tried to keep the price the same for a much lower quality room than what I booked. Other than that, we enjoyed everything else about the property. It is right on the beach, although most rooms are "dune view" but an easy walking path to the beach. The indoor and outdoor pools were both nice and we especially enjoyed the indoor hot tub. Breakfast was also very good. We even got to play cornnhole. The beds were comfortable and it was mostly quiet except for one night when a loud party was happening at a property next door.
