"The staff were amazing, especially considering the surprise blizzard that hit us on my daughter’s birthday. The location is great but it truly was the staff that made the stay special. Between the concierge helping us prep for the storm to the front desk staff making it easy to extend our stay, to the cleaning staff making sure we had enough supplies to last throughout the storm, I can’t thank Hyatt enough for making a stressful situation easier. Would highly recommend. "

"We checked in yesterday, February 19th, at the The The Westin New York Grand Central Hotel, and even though we’re staying through Sunday, I was so impressed that I wanted to share a review already. We’re here celebrating my daughter’s birthday weekend, and the staff has already made the start of our trip truly amazing. I especially want to recognize Deidre at the front desk. She was wonderful so welcoming, kind, and very detailed when explaining everything the hotel offers. Her hospitality and warm smile made our check-in experience memorable. The hotel also surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake for my daughter, which was such a thoughtful touch and meant a lot to us. This morning, Friday, February 20th, it’s rainy, and they even offered complimentary umbrellas for guests. It’s little details like this that really stand out. Every time we’ve come in and out of the hotel, the staff has been friendly and welcoming, which has made us feel right at home. If you’re visiting New York City and looking for a place to stay, this is a great option. It’s close to everything but not right in the middle of the Times Square crowds, which we’ve really appreciated. The area is clean, and the hotel itself has been wonderful so far. I’ll definitely be updating this review and leaving another one after our stay, but I wanted to share this now because I’m already so impressed and excited for the rest of the weekend. "Elin at the front desk was especially polite and friendly. the room was clean, and the climate control worked perfectly. We liked the web based TV, as opposed to cable. Bedding and pillows were comfortable, and many amenities were available. We were very pleased with the kitchen area, pots and pans and dishes were provided. A great stay."

"We arrived 5 hours before check in, ready to leave our bags and come back, but the staff offered us early check in, and even upgraded our room just because (im assuming after they saw we were a young couple)! Staff was lovely, you get the space you pay for, small but it works! Coffee in the mornings is a bonus. Super conveniently located to grand central. Will definitely consider coming back. "
