The room felt very neglected/run down. Quite different from the pictures listed and a far cry from what I would expect out of a hotel billed as stars/luxury. I stayed in the North Tower, which seems to be problematic as far looking at older reviews. Worst of all, I arrived in the middle of a cold snap, and there was no heat on in the room. After adjusting the in-room unit and waiting an hour, there was no appreciable temperature change. ( It was probably 50 degrees inside the room, cold enough to make me put on a hoodie and thicker wool socks). Noting the condition of the room I was in, the thought of getting moved to another room was beyond me. I wound up booking another hotel up the block. I feel like this hotels North Tower is a bait and switch from the rooms in their primary space. If anything this shouldnt be listed as a 3 star hotel.

Staff fine. Quality of room was poor...a/c wasn't working, very difficult to turn on shower lever, chips, cracks, poor condition of room, needs major refresh/renovation, hotel front doors hard to enter if carrying luggage, too few hangers in closet...just basically a dumpy room.

The room was meant to have a spare bed, but after requesting no sheets were provided. They say they provide tea and coffee but they have a coffee machine in the rooms but provide coffee granules instead of pods. Amenities not replaced daily. I wouldn’t recommend.

Even if the booking said “price including all fees and taxes” - there was still fees when checking in. I asked why, “because it says so in the confirmation”. I hade pre-paid and non-refundable…. So I was the “sucker”. I asked what the fees were for; “towels and amenities….water!”. Sucker… there was no fill up from water day two and no soap at the sink…..

Nice staff. The Speak Easy is a joke. It is behind a curtain. We walked in to have a drink and was immediately escorted out by the very rude bartender, because we did not want to eat.

After a very long international flight, arriving at Hotel 32 32 felt like a breath of fresh air. Check-in was incredibly quick, and the staff immediately made sure I had everything I needed. The bed was exceptional—soft linens, supportive mattress, and perfect pillows. I slept better than I expected after such a long journey. The room had a cozy, calming atmosphere that helped me reset and recover.

This was my first trip to New York, and Hotel 32 32 helped make it unforgettable. I stayed for five nights, and every day I discovered something new within walking distance. The staff always greeted me warmly and provided excellent recommendations for food and sightseeing. My room felt modern and peaceful, a welcome contrast to the exciting chaos of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had amazing water pressure—little details that matter after walking miles each day. I couldn’t imagine a better introduction to NYC hospitality.

My friends and I booked two rooms at Hotel 32 32 for a long-awaited reunion in New York. The rooms were next to each other, which the staff arranged without us even asking. Everything was immaculate—spotless bathrooms, comfortable beds, and balconies with lovely city views. The rooftop was the perfect place for us to enjoy cocktails before dinner, and the atmosphere there was vibrant without feeling crowded. Every staff member we met was polite and cheerful. The location made it easy for us to explore the city without spending most of the trip in transit. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base.
