"The property itself is unique, has a fun decoration theme. It's not a cracker jack style place, which we really liked. There's a jukebox in the lobby which was super cool. The bed was comfortable. Not super soft, but not super firm. The room was quite roomy, and the bathroom had a nice barn door style sliding door. There were 10 floors, with the pool on the 8th floor. To be able to use the elevator, you need to use your room key, which was different to me. The not great part of our stay was that the elevator went out of order during our stay, and being on the 8th floor made it rough to have to trek up that many floors! It was not fun, but it's an older building. We still enjoyed our stay, but it would've been nicer had the elevator not been an issue. Especially since we were walking around for hours enjoying the night life, only to come back to the hotel and find we had to tell up 8 floors to get to our room. The front desk did get right on the issue and the elevators were fixed by the morning when we needed to use them again. We were happy about that. I should also note that the sidewalk outside the building was not the most clean, but the hotel doesn't necessarily have control of that... Overall, our stay was pleasant and we enjoyed the hotel. It was quiet and restful. We would stay there again and would recommend the hotel to others. "
