"We had a fantastic 5 day visit at the lakeside. It’s literally 8 minutes from Foxwoods and less than 15 from the Mystic area. The location was perfect. The pictures and description of the cottage was exactly as described. We brought our pup with us in. This was a wonderful environment for her to be in. There was ample space for her to run around in and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, and we were able to take her for her daily walks. There was everything we needed in the cottage. We cooked breakfast every morning and cooked one meal on the outdoor grill. The view upstairs and downstairs on the water was absolutely breathtaking. There were lots of ducks on the water that we got to enjoy watching every day.There were a large supply of cooking utensils and cookware that made it super easy for us to cook. We did bring some of our own spices, but there were already spices there. The TV is located downstairs and had fubo so we could watch regular television and also had a huge selection of apps. One day we never left the cottage and we just went into the hot tub, watch TV and played some of the games that were supplied. We would definitely love to come and visit again when the weather is warmer and we can sit outside to enjoy the beautiful pond. The communication was spot on, and that was before our stay, when we checked in and when we checked out. The daybed downstairs was perfect. We hope to be back later this year or next year. "
