"The staff is great and the room and property are well maintained and clean, my only real issue was the noise, between the rooftop music and the street right outside the window it was impossible to sleep we could also hear people in the other rooms, plus the bathroom was an echo chamber, for the price of the rooms it should be soundproof, worste sleep ever, 2 stars because staff was great and room was clean."

"I took this place as a spot to lay my head prior to checking in to my hotel downtown. Fit my needs: Gas station next door with a taco truck, nice large TV, comfy bed. One highlight: the shower has phenomenal water pressure! Not used to that in my home shower."

"The Russell was one of the best stays I’ve had in a long time. This hotel was very thoughtful in every aspect. This is a hotel without front desk concierge but you could not even tell. The communicative signs around the building made navigating simple. Free local coffee in the lobby, Photo Booth to capture daily moments, and absolutely breathtaking stained glass. The thoughtful touches preserving the history of this building was so well done. The room was fantastic too. Spacious bathroom with nice amenities and the robes were absolutely necessary. My birthday weekend was greeted with a sweet note, a bottle of champagne, and local Nashville sweets. This hotel is also in a prime location where walking to hotspots like 5 points is only about 10 minutes. Coffee shops, bakeries, and great bars were about a 5 minute walk. All in all 5 out of 5 for The Russell."
