Been to Memphis 2 times and both times I’ve stayed at the Hyatt Centric Beale Street. Couldn’t check in early like the previous time but I found out the Minnesota Timberwolves were staying at the property (daughter got autographs from the players). Nice and spacious rooms and all stay were helpful. The hotel is in walking distance of restaurants and entertainment. You will not go wrong by staying at Hyatt Centric Beale Street while in Memphis.

Horrible room wasn’t ready at check in we waited 90 minutes. Missed our dinner reservations. Finally just left because there was a lot of people in front of us. They lied hotels.com saying the room was ready on time. They still haven’t refunded me my $75 incidentals. Refused to refund my stay looks like I’m out $275. Beware this place will rip you off any chance they get and hotels.com won’t help you

Valet or Parking in garage across street seemed to be only options. Parking across was easy, but plan to walk where you need to go or pay each time you leave. Loved this trip. Very safe and convenient to the Forum. Will stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Hyatt Centric in Memphis. The property was very clean, the rooms modern and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We had drinks and food at the hotel bar several times. The food and drinks were good, although wine choices were somewhat limited.

The hotel has a lot of potential, and is centrally located to everything (including Gus' Fried Chicken!). However, the management of the restaurant/lounge is clearly lacking, as the service was lousy and lazy (eg., dishes left all night on the bar top, 1 hour for breakfast). And, the water pressure of the sink faucets in room 744 was abysmal. Finally, the vent in the tiny bathroom was not working :-(
