"Clean, comfortable hotel right in the heart of downtown. Easy walk to Daikin Park, the Convention Center, the Downtown Aquarium, and the theater district. Steps from the Metro red line to go to the Museum District, the Houston Zoo, and the NRG Stadium and Center. Beautiful hotel in an older but renovated building. This hotel is an excellent value and I would definitely stay here again. Great restaurant and other amenities such as a fitness room and laundry facilities. The staff are fabulous, very friendly and helpful. There is no airport shuttle, but the Local 102 bus stops two blocks away to go to and from IAH. There is no pool but that wasn’t important for me. Highly recommend."

"Valet was $48 a night but they were great! Do not try and park your car- you will have to walk MANY BLOCKS back. Across the street is dining, down two blocks is 7/11 and McDonalds. Beds decent. They had fans available! No breakfast though. Old building, needs updating. Will be back!"

"Unfortunately we booked during Mustang weekend which was bad enough, got absolutely no sleep. Aside from that, the pullout was uncomfortable, the breakfast lack luster, screen for the wall cooling unit was busted and pillows were sheets of paper. Staff was unprofessional and unfriendly. The area was skeevy. Do not recommend. "
