Overall the area was nice. The pool area and view was great. As for the our room we had an ant infestation that I expressed to the staff at the front desk. All they said was oh I’m sorry would you like some bug spray. I mean really it’s not my job for I am not in the exterminator business. Then the morning staff express to me that she would talk to the manager about some type of comp for the inconvenience. Never heard from the manager. That is really my only complaint. The place is nice and the beachfront is great.

Isla is not terrible but it is an older hotel. Not sure why but many staff members seemed to be grumpy.. example the guy who puts umbrellas out came and yelled it’s 5o’clock time to go and just started throwing chairs in a pile while the people looked on a bit shocked at his abrupt behavior. The first night I was there the bartender was not friendly at all and spent lots of time hiding on her phone.
