The resort is very big and kept clean and tidy. The rooms are clean and the mini fridge is stocked every other day with pop, beer and water. If you need anything, use the app. The staff was very responsive to the requests we made. They've got people regularly cleaning the tables by the pools and keeping the bathrooms clean. There is something for everyone. Pool activities and scheduled events. If you want a party vibe you can find it. If you want a chill vibe, it's there too. We were on the quieter side of the resort which was nice for us. If noise is a concern for you at night, bring ear plugs. Our kids loved the snack bar by the pool. The staff were polite and helpful. The food was fine. I don't know what people expect when you have to feed thousands of people a day. I had no issue with what they had on offer and could always find something I liked. Bring bug spray. The mosquitos were not kind to me.

The room was full of bugs, the shower leaked from the enclosure into the bathroom floor and there was an ant infestation. The worst resort food that i've ever had. This was my third stay at a Riu hotel and i think I'll choose another option next time. The first thing they told me when i got there is to put everything in the safe and to enjoy the pools because the ocean was dangerous. They texted me and called me to come to the stage area to setup my return transfer to the airport before i even got to the hotel. The resort, dinner and pool crew were great. This is a good hotel of your looking for loud parties, packed adult pools and overly drunk guest. The resort told me i had to be at the front of the hotel at 1:20pm to catch my ride but they NEVER mentioned that i had to check out before noon or be forced to pay a $10 late fee. Resort is a 4 out of 10 in my book and i wont be going back

I was happy with everything, but the audio at the big stage was hard to understand. The pool parties were epic!The view of the Cabo arches are beautiful. I planed my fishing trip with Greyline at the hotel and caught a 91 inch Stripe Marlin! I look forward in staying again.

Stayed at Riu Santa Fe for a week in November. Honestly it’s my 3rd time there and will never go back. The place is very expensive for what they offer. It’s not the cleanest resort, I actually find it very dirty. The pool bars are pretty lame, the adult pool by the beach has no entertainment. The only good thing about this resort is the location and the view you get from the beach. The staff are ok, the property is smoke free so you will have a hard time smoking. The drinks are all watered down and the parties are pretty lame unless you are 19 years old.

Main positives of this location: STAFF! *they are amazing, oceanfront view (if you are not on a strict budget, must-have), and the water park was a nice "Big kid" moment. If you look this place up on TikTok, there may be some mixed reviews, but the main similarity is that it is a party hotel (for the most part). Not all, but some parties do not go until the end of the night which was kind of a bummer when you want to dance/hangout after dinner. There is a lot of confusion as to where to eat and where you cannot eat at certain times. We did a lot of walking and asking to figure it out. Their paper maps were out dated and didn't match, so we were confused. Some had dress codes and we didn't know which ones did or didn't until we walked up to it and then had to walk back to change. Lastly, sad to say, I had a roach in my room 3 days in a row. I complained, I was moved rooms, and all was fine. I asked for a partial or small refund of some sort. I was nicely asked to provide any pictures I can and I did, yet received nothing. I do think the roach issue may have been specific to that room, but I did want to note this unfortunate event. All in all, I would go back with someone who wanted to experience this hotel for the first time, but I wouldn't re-book for myself. Nice experience overall, though!

Great stay. Definitely a very calm relaxed vacation for my wife and I. Had we wanted to party it up there is plenty of option for that. The food was good the resort was clean. No complaints for Riu Santa Fe.

Room was great clean ,staff were very friendly food was delicious.a person could over do it if they weren't careful. lots going on at the hotel. It cost to much for a taxi to leave the premises to go to church or visit a clinic 20$ us versus 5 $ Uber to return. I couldn't walk to the hotel gate to get an uber.

It was too exclusive! No visits so we could not share family moments with members who did not get a chance to book. The road in and out was horrendous. Other than that, it would have been better than satisfactory.
