I did not like that the property was too big?? It made it uncomfortable for those who have trouble walking just like it was an inconvenience not to have elevators!! I won’t stay there for another time because of that??

Large luxury rooms nice big TV , balcony and stocked bar , the food is excellent with many different choices . Drinks are good and plentiful. The staff are amazing customer service is top notch they cater to you and make sure your enjoying your stay

The RIU Santa Fe is where the party happens, a fun place to be, I enjoyed my stay. My ratings depends on service, the week I was there was a semi busy one the facility was understaff bars were packed with two bar tenders each. For an all inclusive only one bar was open after hours Room service was bad I had to call daily for water refills the room keeper would not leave water, this is an all inclusive facility and I had wait on the phone if they answered to order water each day. Restaurants were decently clean, staff seemed unhappy when serving, I figure they were tired. The small pools with bars in it were beautiful but dirty, the water was oily and full of dead flies at 10 am, that section was really bad maintained. The other pools were clean and nice very enjoyable and family oriented. My friend and I visit two of the sit down restaurants they offer and again the service was acceptable not the best. They serve me wine once the entire dinner I asked for refill and it took them for ever to bring it, we left. At the Mexican restaurant the waiter seemed upset he did not smile once but he did serve us promptly. Our last night we went to Kulinara restaurant Yesenia the host was amazing beautiful smile, very helpful and happy. She apologize because they short staff and we might wait a bit, serve us wine and moved on. The waiter was not nice but food was tasty. This is why I under rated RIU.

The swimming pools are way too hot! Not refreshing! You do a lot of walking at this hotel. It is completely spread out all over. They have different parties throughout the week. If your room is near there, you will be hearing music blasted sometimes until 11 o’clock at night.

I arrived last out of my friends. There was 5 of us including me. When checking in they placed 2 of my friends in my room and had them checked in under my name. I had to call all my friends to the front desk and it took about 30 min to an hour to check in. I eventually was placed in my other friend's room but when it came time to check out we went to ask the staff to change the names so there would be no problem checking out since it was not our mistake to begin with. An employee named Andres said it was not his problem because he did not make the mistake and couldn't help all while rolling his eyes and giving us a very nasty attitude. When asking for a manager he replied "why?". Throughout the whole stay whenever we had problems with any of our rooms the staff requested that I had to be present. We were constantly ignored when dining. We had to either grab our own drinks or asked to be served when nobody else did. The wifi signal was terrible. I couldn't make a single call without it dropping if I moved even an inch from where I was standing. We were not offered help with our bags during check-in or checkout. The food at the buffet constantly had flies in it. The food at the steak house was horrible. Not only from my table but many plates were only half eaten and there was too much dressing on the salad. For it to be labeled as a party resort it was too quiet. If I could I would go back to San Jose Del Cabos but I wouldn't stay at this resort again.
