We stayed for 7 days and 6 nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was very nice with a great balcony looking out over the ocean and one of the pools. We felt the electrical needed some updating and even had a light that was flickering, not from the bulb but the switch. We called the front desk and they sent a maintenance person up quickly. He diagnosed it and said he would be back. When we returned later that day the light was working correctly and never flickered again (likely a loose wire behind the switch). We at at the order restaurants and the buffet restaurant. We really enjoyed the Black & White Restaurant which is the steak house. This gets a pretty good wait time so check in early to get a buzzer. We felt that it wasn't a problem because were had plenty to do while waiting (by that I mean sitting having drinks watching the ocean). We at breakfast at the buffet every morning and there are sooooo many choices I believe that anyone should be able to find something for them. Since we were at the pool every day we at lunch at our chairs, although the buffet is another option. They have an area where they set up and cook lunch and you can walk up and get food as you like and they are there for several hours. The activity team does games and other activities poolside and in the pool throughout the afternoon.

I would never stay here again. Food all tasted the same and did not stand up to my expectations. Pools and beach were crowded, and many hotel guests left their towels on beach chairs for hours, despite not being at the beach. My room card needed to be replaced EVERY single time I entered my room, including times early in the morning. Staff mentioned that this was a recurring problem, and they do not care to fix it. Bars and drink services were lacking, and it seemed like bartenders would skip you if you weren’t a big tipper, even though it was an all inclusive (we still tipped!). Parties at other RIU hotels were great but finish at 11pm, and the shuttle services require you to wait in a line for 30 minutes. Rooms outdated, with bugs and broken switches. The shower smelt out the whole room like sewage every time we used it, and when we needed a plumber, they never turned up (staff said it would be a 30min wait). Restaurants were all a 90 min wait, and would often close early. Please do not stay here, you can find a much better place for the money.

Room was upgraded for my birthday and it was amazing. The staff are helpful and friendly. There was fun things to do and water sports near by. We enjoyed everything about it. We had the nicest tucked away beach and snorkeled right off the resort.

Room was clean and spacious. Ocean view balcony was great. Beach very nice, great staff. Food and drinks also good. Only callouts would be the room had a very stale smell and we did have stomach issues after eating from the pool side BBQ Beach

Everything was perfect with the hotel except the transportation services that RIU hire to service the guests it was supposed to be included round trip from the airport to the hotel no problem getting back from the hotel a nightmare we ended up paying $50 that was not supposed to be paid people like that give RIU hotels a bad name
