I found this property to be great. Rooms furniture and appeal seemed a little outdated, but the room had everything you needed. Room had a bottle of tequila, whiskey, rum, and vodka available at all times. Room refrigerator was also stocked daily with beer, cokes, and water. Hotel and common areas were clean and the staff was supper friendly. My least favorite part was the buffet food, which could be a little better. Sit down restaurants in the property were excellent, food was delicious. Overall I would stay here again.

First of all if you ever stay here please pull the sheets off the mattress you are sleeping on and check it First.. the mattress in my king suite was molded and mildew. Second of all they dont have room service. They food and liquid are very low quality. And they over price everything. Also the staff are very rude and not trained my luggage arrived at the hotel on 10.10.25 and no one contacted me about it. Let me check out on the 12th and kept my luggage at the hotel. This is my 5th time in cancun over the years and never had an experience like this before and also the most recent reviews because they push all the bad reviews to the bottom. In addition can i please have my luggage back. Can someone of management contact me please.

The room looked like a motel room, pictures online 100% edited. Bed was hard, only had sheets didn't get a comforter or blanket to sleep with, AC didn't work room stayed at 75-80, shower was disgusting, not sure if they even cleaned our room, alcohol is cheap and nasty, pool is also nasty half the time from people dropping drinks or using it to pee. People fighting almost daily throughout the hotel, the food was absoletly disgusting!!!! I wouldn't feed it to my dog, it sits out all day and they reuse stuff they didn't give away prior, the soda machines smell rotten and clearly do not get cleaned regularly. Food had no seasoning or was dry, food looks decent to the eye but taste awful. Was in Cancun Mexico but had the worst tacos I've ever had how does that make sense. Their Mexico food was awful and so was their American food so not sure what your supposed to eat. Also room service requests took days. Took me calling 3 times to get more bottles of water so I could brush my teeth. Staff lazy and rude half the time, don't do anything in a timely manner. Awful experience never recommend to my worst enemy!!!!

I absolutely loved my stay! It was my 30th birthday and EVERYTHING was amazing. The Riu parties, the drinks included in the rooms, the food across the buffet and different restaurants, the 24hour access to the sports bar, the cleanliness, the amazing workers, and so much more made this one to remember.

Rooms are nice, views fantastic, don't waste your time at the restaurants, you'll find yourself being happy with the buffet. But at night it was hard to sleep because the partying noise outside was loud every night till 2am

The rooms and bathrooms are extremely old. The hallways smell old. the AC in the room didn't really work. The elevators wait is a mess. The restaurants choices are good. The infinity pools and the beach is the best part of the resort. The hotel needs improvement. This has been our least favorite RIU.

Air conditioning is very minimal here. We had a staff member that we could not sit at the one table left available for 4 guests because he said the area was closed but there were people at tables all around it. They would not break a $20 bill unless you wanted to buy something or couldn’t tip them because you didn’t have $1’s. It took at least 10 minutes to be served at the bar no matter what. We did not have staff come and ask us our order. We would recommend going somewhere else like Valentine Imperial Maya instead.

Yes the rooms had Air Conditioning and most the restaurants. The only thing they missed the mark on was the food. It was not Riu worthy and I’ve stayed at another. No comparison. The white party was lots of fun!

Everything from facility to very good food cleanliness, staff , beautiful view, riu party everything amazing. Beautiful beach with beautiful view. Restaurants very good quality food. We will come back to visit again.
