Problems would follow James Taylor for much of his life, but he also found commercial success and international fame in the 1970s. Some of his most famous singles include "Fire & Rain," "Carolina on my Mind," "How Sweet It Is," and "Something in the Way She Moves." James Taylor’s music showcases not only his personal insecurities, struggles, and successes; but also, the nature of the world around him.

Although Taylor has seen his fair share of personal struggles, his career is that of a hall of famer. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2000. With five Grammy’s under his belt and over 100 million records sold, he is one of the best musical artists of all time.
