Bert Kreischer was born on November 3, 1972 in Tampa, Florida. Growing up Bert became known as the class clown and when he attended Florida State University, he only exemplified this trait more. During his six years at FSU he was involved with the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, where he was their face of the party scene. Doing outlandish acts while in public gained him the attention of The Rolling Stone Magazine, who would later name him as the “top partyer at the number one-party school”. His actions while in college also lead him to become the inspiration for the hit movie National Lampoon’s Van Wilder.

Kreischer got his start in stand-up comedy after performing at a nightclub in Tallahassee, after performing there for a couple of years he got recognized by a talent scout from New York City. For some time following his performances in Florida, Bert began working at a Comedy Club in Boston that since has been shut down. Already having made a name for himself in the comedy realm, it was not long before Kreischer began to perform internationally.
