"We stayed June 12th through June 16th 2026. We rented two rooms three of us in each room. The rooms were really very comfortable, beds were very comfortable , no complaints about the rooms View nice balcony. So they did tell us up front that the elevators would be out of order for three out of the four days we were there. They did compensate us for that. Although we would have preferred to have the elevator . Up and down four flights of stairs every time you wanted to leave and come back was very difficult . Also they did say the elevator would be repaired by Monday which was the last overnight we would have had. That did not happen . They also said nothing about the stairs that were convenient to our rooms being painted. Taped off the stairway entry. This made it very inconvenient ,difficult when we had to walk to the other side of the building up four flights of stairs then all the way to the opposite side of the building where our rooms were at. If the elevator is working, I would stay again. Now the restaurant on the other hand not likely to return there. Six of arrived Friday night tired not wanting go anywhere visit the restaurant was served drinks and appetizers no other attention was shone for 45 minutes. Then we were told we would need to wait another 45 minutes for service. Not acceptable. Left and had to order Whoppers for Burger King. Not going back to the restaurant."

"Cameras are located throughout the property, which added an extra sense of security. The apartment is well-equipped with the essentials you’d expect in a home, including a plunger, private laundry room conveniently located next to the unit, a decent-sized refrigerator with a separate mini fridge, long lasting HOT water, and FREEZING cold A/C.The area outside is fairly public, so we tended to keep the shades closed for privacy. There was plenty of closet storage for two people.The glass entry door took a little getting used to, you need to pull/push it firmly toward the frame while locking it, otherwise it may not latch properly. The host provided instructions ahead of time, and it seems to be one of the quirks of an almost 100-year-old building! We have a bigger SUV so sometimes we did not park in our reserved parking spot because the reserved spots are tight and we didn’t want to risk getting hit.The apartment has been beautifully updated and it’s clear that a lot of care went into the craftsmanship and material choices. As someone who appreciates quality finishes, I noticed and appreciated the attention to detail throughout from the high-end plumbing fixtures, door handles, and cabinet hardware to the lighted mirror and other thoughtful touches. The small details really elevated the space and made it feel more luxurious than many rentals.Everything was clean, comfortable, and felt like home during our stay. Host is super responsive and accommodating!"
