Island Bay is the perfect tropical getaway. It only has 10 rooms, but they are spectacular cottages. The grounds and indoor decor are impeccable. The sunsets are unmatched. Island Bay Resort was even better than we had anticatiped. The resort is beautifully maintained. Our cottage was uniquely decorated, very clean and very comfortable. We loved the intimacy and peacefulness of this small resort. Because there are only 10 cottages, and no additional guests are allowed, it is never crowded or noisy. Just what we were looking for! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We spoke with Daniel, the owner a couple of times and could tell he and the staff work hard to maintain the beauty of the resort. We loved being able to use the kayaks and paddleboards without having to rent them. The beach view is lovely and the water is crystal clear. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay!
