"We absolutely loved this house and location. We had six friends that stayed here and it was all we hoped for. Short drive to Key West and close to grocery stores for food. The pool was excellent as we stayed on some of the hottest days in the summer. We only have one suggestion (not a negative by any means) put the TV (the one out on the patio) to face the pool so you could watch it from sitting in the pool. Or somehow put it on a swivel. We had some friends visit as you can see in the pics but the little lizard was a constant and we loved him. For all future renters- his name is now Winston!! All in all everything was wonderful and super easy to deal with."

"The house inside looks just like the pictures and is very nice. The host was responsive and accommodating. There was a charcoal grill at the property, but I was the only person in our group who knew how to use it. After I mentioned this to the host, he had a gas grill delivered the next day.The location is excellent; just a five-minute walk from Sombrero Beach and less than five minutes from the ocean by boat. We brought our 23-foot center-console boat. Once the host moved his boat forward, ours fit in the remaining dock space, although it was very tight. The neighbors are very particular about boats extending beyond the property line, so I would not recommend bringing a boat longer than 23 feet.One thing for boaters to keep in mind is that the canal connecting the property to the ocean can become extremely shallow. We stayed during an almost-full moon, and at low tide the water was less than one foot deep in some areas. We spoke with several other boaters staying along the canal, and they had experienced the same conditions. You need to plan carefully and watch the tides to avoid running aground.Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend the property."

"Great location for access to the ocean. The property was clean. It was quiet while we were there and felt very private as no immediate neighbors were there during our stay. The only negative thing to note is the dock/seawall could use some tlc with exposed bolts sticking out. The pool was great, our kids loved every minute. We even had a blue land crab on the bottom of the pool when were checking out so we were able to fish that out and kids got to take some pictures with it before our departure. We didn't catch any fish in the canal but we did see jelly fish, parrot fish and barracuda. We didn't have any manatees there during our stay either but we did see some by boat around boot key harbor. The canal was free from sargasm during our stay even though it was on the beach. Excellent stay overall and we'd be lucky to stay in this home again on a future trip."

"Great location, plenty of room, and xtra beds if needed. Would have liked the trees to be a little lower at the canal so could see out. Has every cooking utensil you could need Could use a few more kitchen towels , bring your own if needed. There are 2 that we found but such a big house and cooking need few more. Chiller on pool was amazing! Thank you. Would definitely rent again."
