"We really enjoyed our stay at the Springwater B&B this August! We were in the Battenkill Room, which was in the historic building above the Brook Tavern. The room was clean and beautiful, had A/C (which turned out to be pretty important, as it was very hot and humid for part of our stay) and although our private bathroom was across the hall from our room, it was clean and easy to use. Also, the B&B provided us with big, fluffy spa robes we could use whenever we needed to cross the hall to the bathroom.
Coffee and breakfast (served 8-10 over in the main building) was delicious and fresh every day, and we loved meeting the B&B's dogs, Abbie and Gigi. Breakfast highlights we had included the egg and bacon sandwich, the peach pancakes (a special), and the oatmeal Elizabeth (oatmeal with a brown sugar crust almost like a creme brulee)! Also, you get fresh scones of different flavors to enjoy before every meal, and a copy of the Saratoga Special (a Saratoga racing newspaper) to read while you eat!
The Springwater B&B's location can't be beat. They're a very short walk from the Saratoga track and the National Racing Museum, and about a 10-15 minute walk from the shops and restaurants on Congress Street. For people coming to Saratoga without a car, like us, it was a great place to be based.
Finally, the check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. We would definitely stay here again!"
