This is what a realtor would call a "painted lady property." Prettied up by a design firm to look great in pictures but basically a cheap motel pretending to be much more.
I booked a king room with a balcony. The so-called "balcony" was just the wrap around second floor outside landing you find in cheap motels where you can enter the room. Rather than the large double window pictured on their booking page, I had single small window looking out onto a busy and noisy parking garage. The room smelled of either fresh paint or some industrial plastic or solvent. However, I could not open the window to let in fresh air because there were no screens on the windows and Saratoga Springs in August has plenty of flying insects.
Although the front desk staff was great, I did not get maid service the last day of my stay so had to re-use dirty towels the last morning there. I could go on, (hearing snoring from the from the room next door) but you get the idea by now, I'm sure. To be fair, the location is great.
