The best thing about this Hampton is the location. It’s close to the beach and restaurants, which made it convenient for our stay.
The rooms definitely need updating and were not as clean as expected. When we first arrived, our room didn’t even have a refrigerator, but they fixed the issue the same night. Housekeeping also felt very stingy. They only left three large towels for five people, one small soap, and one laundry bag, so I had to keep going to the front desk to ask for more. The pool towel system was also a little inconvenient.
The complimentary breakfast was not bad, and the ladies working the breakfast area were very kind and helpful every morning, which made the experience better. On the other hand, the front desk staff during the were not friendly at all and often came across with an attitude, which made interactions uncomfortable.
Overall, the location and the polite breakfast staff were the highlights, but the outdated rooms, lack of cleanliness, and poor customer service at the front desk really took away from the experience. This hotel has potential, but it needs better service and more attention to guest comfort.
