"We really needed a get away from the New England winter and wanted to explore Arizona. This cabin was right in the middle of the areas we wanted to visit and has very easy and quick access to route 17. The town of Anthem is 10 minutes away and has plenty of grocery stores and restaurants. We enjoyed grilling and relaxing at the cabin every night. It’s on a dirt road that is across from a power station but is very quiet and we walked every morning to bird watch and saw lots of roadrunners and rabbits. There are a bunch of big cacti around the property too. The host was awesome and responded to any question we had right away. The cabin is well stocked with spices, coffee, bottled water and cooking items. There is also laundry detergent and dryer sheets right there as well. It felt like home for the week and we miss it already."
