"Check-in was rough. The kiosks weren't working and only one desk was open to handle a crowd of arriving guests. The staff working it were helpful, but it was a mess. The room was a letdown: old, worn furniture, scuffed walls that need repainting, and an extremely small shower. The room itself is also extremely small. The bed fills most of the space and walking through is a challenge. Location is good, but skip the attached restaurant. It wasn't clean and was clearly understaffed. I won't be booking again. There are much better hotels nearby at comparable prices."

"I rated this hotel a three, not because of the hotel but because of the location. They do not have what your basic hotel has.But the location is wonderful. There are no computers on-site. The Wi-Fi is sketchy at best. No breakfast. But there is a nice cafe next Door which is part of the hotel. The carpets were wrinkled needing to be tightened. I tripped coming out of the elevator twice. The elevator one was broken. The other one got stuck on the 11th floor with a man inside for quite a while. There were. I don't know what kind of stains all over the blind on the window. There was a blood stain on the comfort of the bed, which did not look like it had been worse yet."

"I booked this hotel based on the fairly positive ratings and reviews. This is an old property, it was previously a La Quinta. We unfortunately had many issues with our room. We booked an oceanfront room. Upon arrival the air conditioner in the room was so loud it woke us up from sleep everytime the compressor came on, also the ceiling fan over the bed was on at high speed and there was no way to turn it off. We also had a leak from the ceiling in the bathroom that was causing the counter to be constantly wet. The next morning I went to the front desk to complain about these issues. I wasted half of my day getting these issues taken care of. They did replace the air conditioner and found out that the switch for the fan was behind the bedroom furniture on the wall making it unaccessible to customers they did turn it off, however. The next morning there continued to be even more water leaking through the ceiling in the bathroom. I did have to go complain about this again and was actually relocated to another room which wasted another half day of my vacation. This property is in a very good location with many restaurants and bars close by. The breakfast offered at the hotel is very good with an omelette station. This could be a great hotel if it was a remodeled and refurbished. Maintenance has not been done on this property at all. It was very disappointing to have to waste so much of my time at the beach taking care of maintenance issues with my room."
