The staff was the best thing about the place. All of our concerns were met with courtesy and efficiency. Upraded to ocean view when first room wasn't ready. Fixed card key reader. Gave fresh towels on request. The room itself needed replacement furniture (water damage, pet damages) and cosmetic repairs, but what could be fixed in the moment, was.

We stayed here a few years ago but this stay proved less hospitable. Know that any property near the salt water wears faster than others, but the changes proved dramatic by the lack of maintenance. Rusty edges, worn rooms, noisy air unit, non-working ice machine. Not going back.

Staff was courteous. Despite the listing noting renovations, maintenance seems to be an issue with doors desperately needing paint, broken outlet covers, warped bathroom doors, door not quite fitting into frame allowing light and air from outside. I reached out via email but heard nothing back.

There was bugs but this is Florida so it’s almost a given. Just one or two though. And it just got real cold so Its not a surprise. But the room was very clean. We got the Jacuzzi room and it was great. Everything was very nice. The bed was clean. The shower was great and the Jacuzzi was awesome. We had a beach facing room on the first floor that was a stone’s throw from the water. Every part of the stay was awesome. I will definitely be back.

Direct beach access yes. This is a motel not hotel. Outdoor entrances, poor quality remodel, 2 star at best, musty rooms when outdoor temp is as in the 50s, ice machine was broken, pool/spa/fire-pit (not operating) were in complete darkness by 7 pm when we arrived and not able to be used for relaxing—staff said due to sea turtle nesting. Lyft needed for travel to Daytona beach area for any entertainment or food options. Breakfast was minimal but the hot coffee was a plus. We stayed 12 total hours and would never return. Definitely a budget motel.

This little place is a gem in the rough. The exterior is a bit worn, but the room was clean and full of upgrades. The deck spills right onto the dog friendly beach area which was perfect for us!! The breakfast offerings are very limited but the coffee/chai machine was fabulous and there were several diner options near by. Overall a great value and one to keep on the repeat visit list.

The towels were thread bear andhad holes. The bed and pillows smelled like a locker room. The tv wqs broken so they just placed another one on the desk. The door didnt lock. The drain in the shower kept backing up. You could t get warm water. Every time someone went to thebathroom in anorher room you hear it, loudly!
