The property is pricy for what is offered. We have stayed in the Cancun area every year for over 10 years. We wanted to stay at a place with good food and a nice beach. The beach was very nice and clean, however the rest of the resort was below average. The check in agent was rude and made me feel like a beggar when I asked for a room upgrade. I have never asked for an upgrade, although Expedia has emailed me multiple times stating that I was qualified for one. The agent was pompous and belittling. 50% of the time the staff was inattentive and made you feel as if you were a burden on there day. Even when asking where you could get a towel or where the washrooms were. We are not the type to not tip everywhere we go, we are accustomed to this and tip each person who helps and attends to us, and will tip even if someone is less than friendly. The food and restaurant options were lack luster, very few offerings, especially for the price we paid. For breakfast there was a buffet with the same options everyday. For lunch the only options were two buffets with the same offerings at each one and same food everyday. No change of cuisines or dishes. This is not what we are used to. Most places at least change up the cuisine or theme. This is the same for the dinner buffet, same food but the options were less and were worse at night. We know this because our meals were so bad at the restaurants for dinner that we would go by the buffet to see what was offered.

Summary Large group stay across four rooms. Pros: excellent staff; high-quality food at all restaurants; Friday night Silent Party was fun. Cons: bathrooms lacked privacy; beach drink access was inconvenient; construction traffic (bulldozers) on Saturday disrupted the vibe; limited nightlife after 8pm (Saturday show ended around 9pm); pools felt small for both adults and kids. Bottom line: Great staff and food, but privacy, noise, nightlife, and pool size drawbacks detracted from the overall experience.

We requested the room with two beds but there still was one bed in the room when we got inside. Had to call to the front desk at least 4 times before they sent somebody in to move the bed. Then have to call again because nobody was going to put bedding on the second bed. The staff is very unprofessional and not trained.The handle on the shower facet fell down. We asked several days in row to fix it. Nobody showed up. Manager was trying to accommodate the requests but the staff didn’t follow the order. The room looks good at first glance but a lot of necessary details are overlooked. The drain is very poor in the shower. The water stays on the floor and goes directly to the bathroom. The glass toilet door isn’t the best idea. I think most of the people would like to have the privacy at there. Also, there’s no hooks in the shower to hang the towel. The jacuzzi one the deck is great but there’s no steps or a single handle to help you to get in and out. The water in the pools isn’t heated. It’s OK when whether is warm and sunny. During our stay, most of the time it was windy and cool. It’s impossible to swim in the pool so cold the water was. The beach is extraordinary good. Gold sand. Nice chairs and cabanas. All bars and restaurants are also very good. Also, it didn’t felt right that in the same resort there areas for Club Members only. It makes more sense to have it as a separate resort, like Adults only.

The resort and rooms were beautiful and landscaped very nicely. Although, you can see some wear and tear in high traffic areas like broken door handles that can easily be fixed and elevate the hotel. The staff were wonderful and had great entertainment activities. The drinks were tasty but I wasn’t impressed by the food overall. It was edible but nothing stood out as great. The beach was absolutely beautiful and definitely what makes the hotel worth it.

An absolutely fantastic resort! We loved that it wasn’t as large as a lot of resorts and the staff was awesome. Food was great, rooms were clean and our butler Rubi did a fantastic job! We got the plunge pool suite and I’ll never go back to a standard room after that! 10/10 would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a mostly adult resort that’s high end!

Buffet was always amazing. Other restaurants were great as well. Butler service was above and beyond (Lalo)! Bars were awesome with a huge selection of beverages. Plunge pool suite is the way to go. Unbelievable experience!!!
