Room was ok for price, check in process was bad, had to wait till 3pm and some more after that because they only had one staff member checking you in and line was very long, restaurant staff was rude all the time, i am a generous tipper but if they think you weren't gonna tip they would be rude, app reservations for restaurant wasn't working, so it was a free for all had to wait more than 3 hours to eat in a restaurant thats all included, pools are ok, the beach had no waves so it was good for kids

Rooms are deplorable old. Food is horrible. They make you pay for other restaurants, claiming they are for other level guest.Ameneties are non to zero. The huge line to eat is sad. And then to end up eating very tasteless food.

This is my 3rd time going there. They relly need to do some updating and upgrading on everything. There was construction from 10am to 5pm in the building there was no notifications about construction and that was really annoying if you just wanted to relax in your room. There are no beach chairs from 8am, the beach was a bit dirty. They workers are over worked there. Its a beautiful hotel, but please do some major upgrade in every thing. They really need to update there chef in cooking especially the buffet.

Horrible experience. Aside from all of the safety issues we had booked a 6 night stay. We only stayed one night and the hotel refused to refund us for the 5 nights we didn’t stay. Buyer beware, this hotel and Travelocity have some kind of scam going on between them. Don’t use Travelocity to book and don’t stay at the hotel.

Casi todo estuvo muy por debajo de la expectativa q teníamos. Este fue nuestra quinta vez q vacacionamos en Cancún y está a sido la peor. Primero al llegar para hacer el check in, con la calor q hace y no te ofrecen ni una agua o algo para beber, luego tardamos como 20 minutos para hacer el check in, después la habitación estaba muy pequeña, el baño demasiado reducido y el agua de la regadera salía muy poca y se cambiaba de temperatura de fría a caliente, hicimos la queja y supuestamente la hivan arreglar y nunca fueron arreglarla, pedimos una cama extra pequeña y nos dijieron q la hivan a mandar y nunca llegó hasta el día siguiente. El aire acondicionado no se podía controlar manualmente y durante el día no infriaba bien. Ahora afuera en las albercas y playa no había quien te ofreciera una bebida, fui a buscar una y me tardé como 20 minutos en agarrar una por q nomás hay una persona dando bebidas. A la hora de cenar nomás hay dos buffet abiertos y también tuvimos q esperar como 25 minutos para entrar. Ya adentro no nos atendió nadie y tuvimos q ir por nuestras propias bebidas. Las actividades en el hotel estaban muy mal durante el día q ni animación tenían. En la noche si estaba mejor. Todo esto es lo negativo de nuestra estancia. Lo positivo fue el mar q estaba limpio del sargazo o había poco, los restaurantes de reservación tenían buena comida y el servicio era bueno. Lamentablemente no volvería a ese hotel de gran oasis palm ni lo recomendaría.

Food was not good. I am not a picky eater. I understand that it is not a 5 star hotel. But!! Usually you can find at least some safe choices like pasta or chicken and salad But even pasta and bread were not great. Overcooked. Big variety, but nothing tasted great by some reason. Special dining restaurants were better, but also nothing outstanding. Not easy to make reservation. But we did try 3. Los Agaves was our favorite (service was great here) Makitaco was also pretty good. Room was ok. They cleaned every day. But toilet kept on breaking The biggest issue for me was that in a huge 2 meter deep pool there was only one lifeguard. He was also not always paying attention. Although he did save someone at some point. I liked that they had a coffee shop. And there was no issue finding a seat at the beach. Seaweed at the beach was cleaned only once during our stay.
