The lobby looks good, but the rooms need to be remodeled, the hallway and the room smelled musty. The staff at the lobby were not that courteous, they were in a hurry. Not enough parking space, breakfast was not good at all. Good thing about it is that you have the beach a few steps away.

Sadly, I didn’t have a good experience at this hotel. The food was poorly prepared and not good quality, service was not good, housekeeping terrible they wouldn’t leave clean towels either toilet paper even after multiple requests. I had a leaking in my bathroom which I reported early in the morning and got back to the room at 8pm and still no one showed up to fix it. They changed my room until they saw me very upset at the situation. The staff was not all the best, some were but not all. I didn’t like that you have to make reservations for dinner and the last days couldn’t make any and the buffet was bad. Also, if you pay for all inclusive package why do they still make you pay for extra menu? Makes no sense! Also, at the pool or outside they only offered drinks no snacks and took forever to bring them. The pool and the restaurant outside would close very early so by dawn the hotel is dark dead already nothing to do at night and the lobby is so crowded which also closes at 10:450pm. I wouldn’t go back to this hotel again. It was not pleasant and it t wasn’t worth the price I paid.

Only 1 elevator. Room stunk really bad. You had to pay to use the TV. Bed was super hard. They said we had a free day use of an outdoor bed on the beach but no one knew where we could make the reservation so we were never able too. The nice thing was the beach. The cleaning ladies were really great too.

The room smelled of mold. We asked for a room change but they only gave us an air cleaning machine. We had to keep the AC on high all the tine and it was very cold. The TV didn’t work- although we had the techician there theee times he couldn’t get a signal.

The hotel has access to the best beach in all Riviera Maya. That’s the reason you should stay here. Hotel is a bit dated but the beach area makes up for everything. All-inclusive may not be worth it unless u really don’t want to go out to eat or order food. Again, the beach access makes this one of the best values in all Cancun and Riviera Maya without a doubt. Beach is super chill perfect for children or older folks.

Overall, the hotel was okay, but it’s definitely outdated with noticeable wear and tear. My room was acceptable, though the shower knobs barely worked, the water came out yellow once, and the walls were so thin I could hear my neighbours clearly. The beach is absolutely stunning, but there aren’t many palapas, so you need to go early to get one. The location is a huge plus right in the middle of the Hotel Zone and walking distance to restaurants and entertainment, which made our stay much easier. There isn’t much nightlife at the hotel itself, just some music at the lobby bar and a bit of entertainment by the pool on the weekend. The staff were very friendly, and I didn’t try the restaurants since we didn’t do all-inclusive. I would consider booking again, but only if the rooms were updated.

The room was outdated, but the ocean view was nice, what I really don't like is the single line for check-in/out, they can take more than 10mins to check-in a single person, the 1.5L bottled water is priced at 60 pesos, but I was charged for 80 pesos. The guy who checked me out has a rude tone, the bell boys were the nicest people in the hotel.

Our stay at the Krystal Cancun was a 10/10! The entire grounds are spotless, and the staff is courteous and attentive. THAT BEACH!!! It's so clean, such clear blue water, and the waves are safe for children! I didn't realize how different the shoreline and water is further down the coast. different the water is further down the coast

I see renovations are taking place, please fix the missing elevator issue, my rooms ware at 7th floor had to wait 5/8 minutes to get the elevator. It’s my 4th time here I know the hotel can do better. Better communication between PBX and housekeeping department 1hr to get toothbrush it’s bit unfortunately, minor maintenance issues around the hallways, things that just need retouches. On good notes. Great F&B team, special shoutout to the cooks, runners, chef stations, and servers. I did not see any floor manager around though, maybe a natural smile from the hostess, Great complements for Abigail from concierge services. Knows Cancun very well. Very welcoming and always available for any question or concerns. Note: keep your eye on the beach it can be little messy with trash from locals over the weekend. I found my self picking trash while I took my morning calls at 8am I’m a hotelier too in NY, I can go on and on. However I love the hotel, I look forward to see you guys again in few months. Overall my favorite place to stay! Cheers

Get away from this hotel Saved 200 to sleep in a room full of humidity and construction noise all day. The place smells like swamp water the bathroom water is yellow and the bed and pillows are terrible. Even the ice tastes like sink water. The all inclusive is a joke the cheapest most tasteless food I have ever seen. To make it worse on my first night after drinking one beer a group of so called tourist police stopped me saying I was drunk. I had literally just arrived wasn’t drunk at all and ended up in a police station for 3 hours until I paid them 500 to get out. This hotel and the whole experience were a complete disaster. Never going back to Cancun and definitely never stay at this one star hotel.
