Cheap flights from Newark to Boston

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is the busiest airport in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area and it is located off Interstates 78 and 95, which makes it easy to access.

Once there, you can take a two-hour flight to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), then rent a car and jump on Interstate 90 to see more of Boston, which is affectionately known as Beantown, because of the city’s love of baked beans.

Attractions and tips

While you are in Boston, the Adams National Historic Park is a must-see place. This area is the birthplace of President John Quincy Adams and features the “Old House” that was home to the family for four generations. There are plenty of activities on the property so kids can learn more about the nation’s sixth president.

Then, walk through Back Bay, Beacon Hill, the Financial District and the North End to experience the art walk. During this tour, you will get to see pieces that are antique along with viewing the works of contemporary artists.

Boston’s luxurious hotels are located downtown. If you are looking for a homey feel, yet still want easy access to the metro systems, Beacon Hill is a good neighborhood for accommodations. Staying in the Seaport District gives you easy access to the Convention and Exhibition centers, as well as BOS. Budget-conscious travelers should consider booking a hotel in the South End.
