Houston George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) is located 23 miles north of downtown Houston, and is easily accessible via Interstate Route 45 and Highway 59. Flights from Houston to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) take 4 to 5 hours, and once in San Francisco, the Bay Area Rapid Transit offers connections to many nearby destinations.

Attractions and tips

Everyone visiting San Francisco stops to see the famous Golden Gate Bridge, which spans 1.7 miles, and Fisherman’s Wharf is well known for its vendors of crab, clam chowder and sourdough bread bowls.
