"We stayed for three nights whilst we visited my mum with our two small dogs, and we had a marvellous time. The waiting/bar staff were outstanding: Gabriel , James, Peter, Marie, Miranda...All of them. And front of house too. They all made such a fuss of our dogs, nothing was too much effort. We will be back!"

"Stayed here to break my long journey from Cumbria to Devon. Good job I did as it took over 4 hours to get there from Penrith. Am sure there were less road works in the stone age!! Moment I got there exhausted, the staff were amazingly helpful and kind. I felt at home in a strange hotel i had never stayed at before! Spent the whole weekend there. Breakfasts were excellent. Spent most of my time in the pool and spa, both exercising and relaxing....lovely!!"

"This was our second stay at the property. We returned not only for the beautiful location & accommodation, but we also enjoyed our dining experience very much. The included breakfast was far above average in terms of selection, taste, and service, and the dinner options were superb. Parking is convenient and included. There is a lift if you need it, and they also have improved their Wifi since our last visit last year. A loud event took place at the hotel our last night but we received communication about it beforehand so it wasn't a problem (music off before 11pm). Our only regret was not taking advantage of the gorgeous lounge for an evening drink!"
