I'm not one for complaining or writing bad reviews but unfortunately my husband's safety was compromised in what should have been an accessible room. We were informed that there was no lift but a platform to transport (non electric) wheel chair users down the short flight of stairs to the bedrooms. The room we were given though was not an "accessible" one with the grab rails in the bathroom as there had been issues with the toilets in those ones. We were not made aware of this prior to arrival. My husband is not always wheelchair bound so he managed the best he could for the one night we were there. However the main safety concerns were that of the bed. issues is that of the bed.lower than wheel chair height , but on castors so moved and the mattress was soft/bouncy

Everything was perfect, room cleaned and fresh towels everyday. Bed was comfortable and room was warm. Breakfast was hot and a good variety of cooked and continental to choose from. Perfect location for Stoke on Trent and motorway. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful throughout stay.
