"Great location, next to Princes Street and rail station, uphill walk to Royal Mile and Old Town so need to be fit! Hotel has excellent facilities, including pool and gym. Breakfast freshly prepared and buffet options. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyable 4 days."

"The breakfast was great. They had Greek style yogurt, which I really like, and they had nice fruit and pastries, and an also a menu that you could order from with great porridge and waffles. The staff was very helpful and they were always to be found in the hallway. My room was very, very clean and I always had cookies waiting by my coffee pot. :-) The only negative thing I can say is they did not have outlets on both sides of the bed only on one side, but other than that everything was perfect. It had a bathtub and a shower and a fan was in our room before we got there. This is a great place to stay. The location is fabulous."

"Top-of-the-line, elegant old world charm hotel with delicious food and agreeable, helpful and engaging staff. Large breakfast banquet. This is the place you want to be although if stairs is an issue you might be slightly challenged. There are elevators, but accessing some rooms and locations requires stairs. World class golf course. Immaculate, beautiful swimming pool. Various activities and a nature trail."

"Clean room, seemed dated. Water pressure wasn’t great and the water wasn’t that hot. I was only there for one night for a conference and the bed was clean which is the main thing. Well located and reasonably priced. For other leonardos I’ve stayed in this was the most run down."
