"We stayed in rooms 223, 225, 227 for a weekend Busch Gardens trip.
223 was good all the way around. Comfy bed and clean room,
225 was clean except for a mildly musty smell.
227 had an extremely bad musty smell. So much so, that I had to go out and buy some febreeze and air fresheners for my daughters to be able to sleep. It smelled like the A/C unit was leaking into the carpet, and had been for some time. While I had the air freshening supplies, I went ahead and took care of room 225 as well.
Other than that, the hotel was in good condition, and the pool was a nice bonus for the kids. It was noise free, and we enjoyed two peaceful nights sleep.
The front desk clerk was very nice, I believe her name was Debbie.
There was Juice and Coffee in the morning, with breakfast sandwich grab bags available (I can’t wait for COVID to be over).
All in all, I would stay here again if I ever go back to Busch Gardens. It’s so close, it’s worth the little issues I had. Also, there is a Bob Evans right next door so the lack of Continental Breakfast was not an issue.
I would suggest taking care of the odor issues in the two rooms, and the hotel would get a higher rating."
